Most nationalities need a Tanzanian tourist visa (USD 50, or USD 100 for US passports). You can apply online or get a visa on arrival at JRO airport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry.
Comprehensive travel insurance with medical evacuation cover is mandatory for all safaris. Your policy must cover emergency evacuation (including by air), trip cancellation, medical expenses, and lost luggage.
Yellow fever certificate is required if arriving from a yellow fever country. Anti-malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended as all safari parks are in malaria-risk areas.
All camping equipment is included: two-person dome tents, sleeping bags, pillows, foam mattresses, and camp chairs. You only need to bring personal items, warm clothing, and a sense of adventure.
Three meals per day are provided by your camp cook — breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are freshly prepared at each campsite. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.
We welcome families with children aged 6 and over. Game drives can be adjusted to suit younger guests. Private vehicles are recommended for family groups.
