Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari team and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. This day is for rest and relaxation after your journey. Later in the evening, you will meet your professional safari guide who will give you a detailed briefing about the 8 days Serengeti Migration Safari, including wildlife expectations, migration movements, and safety tips. Overnight in Arusha, surrounded by peaceful gardens and fresh mountain air.

After an early breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant families and iconic baobab trees. Upon entering the park, you will begin a scenic game drive along the Tarangire River, the main water source that attracts wildlife throughout the year. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and many bird species. The open savannah and riverine landscape provide excellent photography opportunities. In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, continue your journey toward Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival in Central Serengeti (Seronera area), enjoy lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Spend a full day exploring Central Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. The Seronera River supports a high concentration of wildlife, making this area perfect for predator sightings and dramatic wildlife interactions. Watch lion prides resting under acacia trees, cheetahs scanning the plains, and leopards hiding in riverine forests. With flexible game drives, your guide will follow wildlife movements for the best sightings. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast, begin your scenic drive toward Northern Serengeti. This is a game drive day, with frequent wildlife sightings along the way. As you move north, the landscape becomes greener and more hilly. Arrive near the Mara River, where the Great Migration gathers between July and October. In the afternoon, explore riverbanks where wildebeest and zebras gather, preparing for river crossings. Crocodiles, lions, and leopards are often nearby. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp close to the Mara River.

This is the most exciting day of the safari. After breakfast, spend the entire day tracking the Great Migration along the Mara River. Thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather at the riverbanks, waiting for the right moment to cross. If you are lucky, you will witness dramatic river crossings as animals brave strong currents and crocodiles. Your experienced guide will position the vehicle in the best areas for viewing and photography. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the river and continue game drives until late afternoon. Overnight near the Mara River.

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning game drive in Northern Serengeti before driving back to Central Serengeti. This split journey reduces long-distance driving and allows more time for wildlife viewing. Along the way, you may spot migrating herds, giraffes, elephants, and predators. Arrive in Central Serengeti in the afternoon, enjoy an evening game drive or relax at your lodge after an exciting migration-focused safari experience.

After an early breakfast, drive from Central Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich areas. The crater is home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch at the crater floor, ascend the rim and drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable 8 days Serengeti Migration Safari.
