Trip Overview
This 7 Days Serengeti Migration Safari is a carefully designed wildlife adventure that takes you deep into Tanzania’s most famous national parks. The journey starts in Tarangire National Park, home to large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, before heading to the heart of the Serengeti. You will spend more time in both Central and Northern Serengeti, the best areas to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration and possible river crossings at the Mara River.
The safari continues to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wildlife sanctuary with one of the highest animal densities in Africa. This itinerary is perfect for travelers who want excellent wildlife viewing, shorter driving distances, and more time on game drives. The 7 Days Serengeti Migration Safari offers unforgettable wildlife moments, beautiful landscapes, and comfortable lodges throughout the journey.
You will be picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to Greenside Hotel Arusha. Meet your safari guide who will brief you about your safari and check all your safari equipment. Relax and prepare for your adventure.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for large elephant herds and giant baobab trees. You will enjoy a full game drive where you may see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many birds. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late afternoon, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will drive towards Central Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you enter Serengeti National Park, the endless plains will open in front of you. You will enjoy an en-route game drive while heading to the Seronera area, known for its high wildlife concentration. Afternoon game drive follows before heading to your camp.
Overnight in Central Serengeti

After breakfast, you will start your journey to Northern Serengeti with game viewing along the way. This area is famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, especially around the Mara River. You will see changing landscapes, from open plains to rolling hills. Picnic lunch will be served on the way, and later you will relax at your camp near the Mara River.
Overnight in Northern Serengeti
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
This full day is dedicated to exploring Northern Serengeti. During migration season, you may witness dramatic wildebeest river crossings, where thousands of animals cross crocodile-filled waters. You will also spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of zebras. Picnic lunch will be served during the game drive.
Overnight in Northern Serengeti
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast, you will drive back to Central Serengeti with game viewing en route. The Seronera area offers excellent chances to see big cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. The Seronera River attracts wildlife all year round. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your camp.
Overnight in Central Serengeti
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti, then drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic views of the highlands. In the evening, you will reach your lodge near the crater rim, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset overlooking the crater.
Overnight at Ngorongoro area
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the Big Five and thousands of animals in a small area. After a picnic lunch, you will drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon, marking the end of your safari.

After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. Late check-out available for evening flights (extra fee).
