Your 5 Days Ndutu Great Migration Safari begins in the morning with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. After meeting your professional safari guide, you will start the journey toward Tarangire National Park, one of the most beautiful parks in northern Tanzania.
The drive takes about two hours and passes through small villages, Maasai lands, and open savannah landscapes. As you enter Tarangire National Park, the scenery changes into a classic African wilderness filled with giant baobab trees and seasonal rivers that attract wildlife.
Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population. During your game drive you may see large herds of elephants walking together, young calves playing near the river, and sometimes elephants cooling themselves with dust baths. Other animals often seen here include giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and many species of antelope.
Predators such as lions and leopards are also found in Tarangire, especially near the river areas where animals come to drink water.
After an exciting afternoon game drive, you will leave the park and drive to your lodge or tented camp in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.
