This tour takes you to a real Maasai village located not far from Arusha or Moshi, where you will meet the local Maasai families, learn about their daily life, traditions, and explore their unique way of living.
You will get a chance to see their traditional houses (manyattas), watch their dances, and even join in. The Maasai will share their knowledge about cattle, nature, and the meaning of their colorful clothes and jewelry. It is a beautiful cultural exchange that will leave you with a deeper understanding of one of Tanzania’s most famous tribes.
Your tour starts in the morning with a drive from Arusha or Moshi to a nearby Maasai village. On arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by the Maasai people. They will show you around their village, take you into their traditional homes, and tell you stories about their lifestyle.
You will see their cattle, learn about their traditional medicine, and enjoy their traditional dances and songs. There is also a small local market where you can buy handmade crafts directly from the Maasai. After the visit, we drive back in the afternoon, giving you time to relax and reflect on your experience.
