Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Zanzibar/Arusha – Fly to Serengeti National Park

You will take a morning flight from Zanzibar or Arusha to the central Serengeti (Seronera airstrip). Upon arrival, our professional safari guide will meet you and start your first game drive in the famous Serengeti plains. You’ll enjoy watching big herds of wildebeest, zebras, and possible sightings of lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After the afternoon game drive, you will check in at your comfortable lodge or tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of exploring the Serengeti. You will drive through different landscapes looking for the Big Five and many other animals. The central area (Seronera Valley) is rich with wildlife all year round. Your guide will take you to the best locations for sightings and also share interesting stories about the animals and nature. Picnic lunch will be served in the wild, and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti – Drive to Ngorongoro Highlands

After early breakfast and a short morning game drive, you will begin your journey out of the Serengeti. The drive to Ngorongoro Highlands is beautiful and scenic, passing through Maasai villages and wide open landscapes. You’ll arrive at a lodge near the crater rim in the late afternoon. Relax with a beautiful view of the highlands and enjoy your dinner.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Drive to Arusha

Early in the morning, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – one of the most famous wildlife spots in Africa. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to thousands of animals, including rhinos, lions, elephants, and hippos. You’ll enjoy a full game drive inside the crater with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha where your safari ends.
