The 4 Days Tanzania Budget Camping Safari takes you to two of Africa’s most famous safari destinations: the endless plains of the Serengeti and the world’s largest unbroken caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. This classic adventure is designed for travelers who want to enjoy the true African safari experience at an affordable price. Expect to see the Big Five, witness breathtaking landscapes, and spend your nights camping under the African sky.
The 3 Days Mount Meru trek combines mountain adventure with the unique wildlife of Arusha National Park. On the first day, it is common to walk alongside animals in their natural habitat, something that makes this trek different from many other climbs. As you continue higher, the scenery changes from thick forest to alpine vegetation, and finally to rocky ridges that lead to the summit.
Another highlight of Mount Meru is the summit itself. Standing on Socialist Peak at sunrise, you get a breathtaking view of the Meru Crater and a clear sight of Kilimanjaro glowing in the morning light. This makes the experience unforgettable and truly rewarding.
The 3 Days Mount Meru trek is perfect for travelers who want a short but real mountain climbing experience in Tanzania. It suits adventurous people with limited time, those looking for an acclimatization climb before attempting Kilimanjaro, or anyone who wants to combine wildlife, forest walks, and high-altitude trekking in one trip. Because the hike is demanding but shorter than Kilimanjaro, it attracts climbers who are physically fit, love nature, and want to enjoy an unforgettable adventure in just a few days.
Your safari begins with a drive from Arusha through the Ngorongoro Highlands, entering the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The park is known for its endless plains and abundance of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to a campsite inside the Serengeti for dinner and overnight stay.
Distance: 335 km – about 6 hours
Accommodation: Camping site in Serengeti
Spend the whole day exploring the Serengeti. You may spot predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs hunting, as well as elephants, hippos, and countless bird species. If visiting during the Great Migration, you will witness millions of wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains. After an exciting game drive, return to your campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before heading towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you may spot more wildlife, including hyenas, jackals, and antelopes. Upon arrival, you will camp on the crater rim, where you can enjoy stunning views of the Ngorongoro landscape.
Distance: 145 km – about 3 hours
Accommodation: Camping site on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater
Early in the morning, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Here you will have the chance to see the Big Five in one place, including the rare black rhino. The crater floor is also home to hippos, buffaloes, zebras, and flamingos. After a full-day game drive, you will return to Arusha in the evening, marking the end of your safari.
