Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 0: Arrival In Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet and greet with your local guide and transfer to your accommodation in Arusha town. Check in, relax, and rest to recover from your journey.
Optional: If time permits and you’re not too tired, explore the vibrant local markets or take a short city tour in Arusha.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Start your adventure early in the morning from Arusha, heading towards Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, embark on a game drive through the park, renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Spot diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot within the park, taking in the scenic surroundings. Continue the game drive in the afternoon, exploring different areas of the park. As the sun begins to set, make your way to a nearby Motto Cottages Lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay, experiencing the authentic safari atmosphere.
Day 02: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and one of the world’s most remarkable natural wonders. The crater floor offers an incredible wildlife viewing experience, with the opportunity to see the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos.
