A Group Climb, also known as a join-in climb, is a scheduled departure with a set date where you join other climbers from around the world. It is more affordable and gives you a chance to meet new people and share the journey together.

A Private Climb gives you full control of your trip. You decide when to start, who to climb with, and how fast or slow to go. This is ideal for couples, families, or friends who want to enjoy the mountain in their own way.
Your guide and crew will focus only on your group. You get more personal service and flexibility in your daily schedule. It’s also easier to request special meals or support for unique needs.
This option is more expensive than group climbs, but the level of comfort and privacy is higher.
Group Climbs are scheduled on fixed dates and open for anyone to join. You’ll hike with other travelers from different countries who all share the same dream reaching the Roof of Africa.
Group Climbs are cheaper because the cost is shared among all members. You’ll enjoy team spirit, make new friends, and support each other along the way.
The daily pace and schedule are set for the whole group, so it may not be as flexible. But it’s a great way to climb Kilimanjaro with others without planning everything alone.
