π Overview
The Machame Route is one of the best and most popular ways to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. People also call it the “Whiskey Route” because it is a bit more challenging than the Marangu Route. It takes 6 to 7 days and gives you more time to get used to the high altitude. The route goes through beautiful forests, valleys, and rocky paths before reaching the top at Uhuru Peak (5,895m). Many climbers choose this route because it has great views and a high success rate.
