2 days Hadzabe tribe safari

$400/per person

Overview

Embark on a fascinating 2-day adventure to experience the unique lifestyles of the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. The Hadzabe, also known as the Hadza, are one of Africa’s last true hunter-gatherer tribes, living around Lake Eyasi in the central Rift Valley. Renowned for their deep connection to nature, the Hadzabe rely on hunting game and foraging for plants and honey. Their unique click language, Hadzane, and traditional customs have remained largely unchanged for thousands of years.

On this 2-day Hadzabe Tribe safari, you will have the opportunity to witness their incredible knowledge of the natural world, including medicinal plants and wildlife behavior. The remote Lake Eyasi region, nestled between the Rift Valley and the Serengeti Plateau, provides a perfect backdrop for this cultural exploration.

In addition to the Hadzabe, you will visit the Datoga tribe, known for their skilled blacksmithing and pastoral lifestyle. The Datoga people have also preserved their traditional ways of life and offer a rich cultural experience.

This safari not only offers a rare glimpse into these disappearing cultures but also highlights the sustainable living practices of the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Join us for an unforgettable journey into the heart of Tanzania’s cultural heritage.
